About Me

I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 17 years’ experience across NHS services, charities, and private practice. I specialise in supporting adults living with chronic illness, long-term health conditions, and persistent physical symptoms who want to feel calmer, more confident, and more in control of their lives.
Alongside professional training, my work is informed by lived experience of chronic health conditions. This brings an additional level of understanding, sensitivity, and realism to therapy, particularly for clients who feel misunderstood or judged elsewhere.
Accredited CBT Psychotherapist Specialising in Chronic Health Conditions
I have specialist training in the psychological impact of chronic health conditions, including chronic pain, fatigue conditions, gastrointestinal conditions, migraine, tinnitus, and medically unexplained or persistent symptoms.
Therapy can help you understand and reduce the emotional impact of symptoms, not just manage the physical condition.
Long-term illness can affect identity, confidence, relationships, and sense of safety in your body. My work focuses on understanding these patterns and helping clients develop practical ways to reduce overwhelm, improve coping, and rebuild trust in themselves.
Integrating Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, and Mind–Body Approaches

My approach is collaborative and carefully paced. I integrate CBT with mindfulness-based and mind–body-informed work, and I work alongside medical care where appropriate.
Therapy with me is not about promising cures or pushing for rapid change. It is about developing understanding, reducing overwhelm, and rebuilding trust in yourself and your body.

I can’t thank you enough Tina. Every session was mind blowing and full of epiphanies. You were always open, honest, and made it easy for me to be the same.
I can’t quite believe the transformation I’ve made, because of you.

Where to Find Out More
Because I’ve both lived with and worked extensively alongside long-term health conditions, I understand how easy it is to feel stuck — managing symptoms on the surface while quietly struggling underneath. You might have tried to push through, find answers, or keep everything going, yet still feel like your body is in charge. This is especially true with conditions like Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Migraine, Tinnitus, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, where symptoms can feel unpredictable and overwhelming.
But it doesn’t have to stay this way.
There is a way to feel steadier, more in control, and more like yourself again — without pushing beyond your limits. If you’re ready to understand what’s really going on and find a more supported way forward, you can explore how I help on my Chronic Illness Therapy page.
